Grizzly River Powerline

Located just outside of Mannville, Alberta, Roterra is installing one 18", four 24" and five 36" (0.750 wall) steel driven piles weighing 11,000 lbs. and cap plates as heavy as 13000 lbs. This project will support critical power transmission line infrastructure for the Grizzly River Powerline project and connects 20+ wind turbines to Alberta's electrical grid. Screw piles, bucket piles and driven piles were installed for direct embeds, corner posts, road crossings and an 800m clear span across a coolly.
